This is the view south from near the top of Jay Peak. The two prominent mountains pictured closest to the viewer, are Bruce Peak on the left and Sugarloaf Mtn on the right. These are two mountains that the Long Trail traverses south of Jay Peak. Jay Peak is listed at 3,858ft and is the last 'big' mountain in Vermont before the Canadian border along the Long Trail. This was day 27 of 28 on the Long Trail. (July 21, 2007)
