Very nice, but...

The photo has to be taken from higher on Cannon, not from the pass The pass is in the foreground down near the snow.

Sculpture

Wonderful blend on lines, colours, textures and contours. Never seen a shot quite like this. Fab.

UV or polarising filter might take out some of the distant haze.

That curving, ascending ridgeline, would be a great route.

Thanks Ray. I like that area as well. The UV filter is a great suggestion but this is just a point and shoot digital camera. My better Canon has the filters but I choose not to carry it on these trips.

Thanks for the info. Guess I could ascend without a rope then. Hope to make it one day. Though some mountain goats are incredible and I might need a helicopter!
