View SE from near the Summit of Snowdon

By mid November, cold and snowy weather had been replacement by dull and wet conditions. Some times clearing just at the right moment! As here on Nov 16th as I got close to the top of Snowdon's Watkin Path.

Re: Not many people....

And mine too! Had just groped my way up a fog and mist bound Watkin Path, and suddenly the cloudbase lifted!

Re: Not many people....

My first thought when I saw the photo was Lord of the Rings/Hobbit. Great shot.

Re: wow

Thanks mountaingirl. I thought quite hard how I could add it to the TR. It qualified in the end as it was the only time I was there last winter, (after the first snows fell), when there was no sign of winter. So I felt one photo and a short mention in the TR was acceptable!
