Lucky you ... I go hiking / mountaineering now for 48 years and I saw this plant only once .... Its not exactly a wildflower easy to miss ....

I saw them both on the same ferrata route - Ferrata del Centenario Via Dell' Amicizia - above Riva del Garda. They were both on walls that were inaccessible to most people or animals so maybe that was significant.
I hope you get to see some more in the future.
