1975!Not bad considering this area was first climbed in the winter of 1970-71.

Re: 1975!Thanks for your comment. I recently decided to document some of my past climbs, inspired by holding a 40 year reunion of my expedition to do a second ascent of Denali's East Buttress. We enjoyed reconvening so much I thought I might reconnect with old climbing partners by posting on this site.
I remember this day the ice temperature was perfect: not too cold where the ice just shatters, and not too warm, where the tools don't hold.
Funny how I can remember that but I can't remember what I did yesterday.
