An easy ring ride in the Pasubio group 

An easy ring ride around monte Testo and monte Roite that offers a great view on the Alpe di Cosmagnon, the Alba Alba, the Sogli Bianchi and the main summits of the group: Col Santo, Col Santino, Monte Testo, Monte Roite, Corno Battisti, Monte Buso, Dente Austriaco.

Route Description

Approach: Starting from Rovereto follow for Trambileno and the Lancia refuge. Once at Giazzera follow the direction to the refuge till the parking (Cheserle hut 1404 m) Now follow the path 122 up to Malga Zocchi (Located in a beautiful valley leading to Bocchetta dei Foxi 1744 m). Give a look to the historical Corno Battisti and the Val di Foxi and then continue on the path 122 that leads to the Bocchetta delle Corde 1895 m passing under the walls of Monte Testo (known places of the First Great War) From the Bocchetta take the "sentiero della pace" E5 that runs along Mount Roite and rises above the alpe di Cosmagnon up to the Sella del Monte Roite 2086m. The panorama is wide and goes from the alps of Cosmagnon, Piccole Dolomiti, and the mountains of the Pasubio. Finally start descending towards the Campiluzzi 2045 m. and then cross the Alba Alpe up to the refuge Lancia Following the path 101 you return to the parking .
