The south slope of Goat Mountain. The West Summit is not quite visible at upper left. The Middle Summit is at upper right. Note the forest band at the right edge of the photo. That is the easy open-forest route to take for the southside shortcut. The Goat Mountain Trail crosses the slope high up near the summit. Photo taken from FR-2612. April 18, 2005.
