Autumn in Wisconsin 2019

Autumn in Wisconsin 2019

Page Type Page Type: Album

Introduction

Every time I get to spend an autumn day in the forest by a river or on a peak is a great day for me.  Autumn goes by way too quickly, I think. Though I have spent many beautiful autumn days in other states that I have lived in before, the fall colors in Wisconsin rival those of anywhere else in the country.   Whenever I am privileged to spend time immersed in the artwork of nature, it always strikes me how limited words are in describing this beauty.  Photos can sometimes help compensate for the limitations of words. So, here are some photos from autumn 2019 in Wisconsin.  I hope you enjoy.

Autumn

Beautiful pictures.

Autumn 2019 was very short in Wisconsin. It is mid November and we have already had 2 weeks of snow with temperatures as low as 3 degrees F in Janesville.

Re: Autumn

Yeah, the weather forecaster had me wondering sometimes as to if were were going to get any of those sunny, cool crisp autumn days we all love. Fortunately there were at least a few days this year that turned out pretty nice. You guys in Janesville are about 200 miles south of here, but I think conditions have been worse there than here in northern Wisconsin.

Re: Lovely colours

Thank you for your kind remarks! Our colors departed here just recently and have been replaced with lots of snow. Autumn is way too short. Cheers!
