Whenever you climb, try to stay out from underneath the big walls of this crumbling mountain. This photo is of a huge dust cloud that was sent billowing up from the East side of Middle Sister by some major rockfall. I was near the bottom of the SE ridge of North Sister and could hear the rocks raining down from the side of the mountain...
