On a clear day the views are always amazing. This was taken July 11 at about 9800' slightly below the Upper Red Pine Lakes. You can see the lower lake is still mostly covered in ice and snow. The Cottonwood Ridge with Broads Fork Twin Peaks, Sunrise, Dromedary all well over 11000' are seen across the canyon as is one of the best snow climbing couloirs in the country, Tanners gulch, which rises well over 3000' vertical.
