When was this taken?Was this photo taken recently? A date would be very useful for judging snow conditions. Thanks for posting this - it's a nice shot.

Re: When was this taken?Hi John, this photo was taken July 6, 2002, so it is not a very good indicator of current snow cover conditions. I just came across it while looking for something else.

Re: When was this taken?Thanks for the date. I usually find it very useful to have a date in the caption so I can guess when I might find similar conditions either for the rock approach or for skiing in this case. Cheers :-)
