Moelwyn Mawr Trig Point

Moelwyn Mawr Trig Point

This is the fine well maintained trig point on the summit of Moelwyn Mawr. At 770metres AOD this is the Moelwyn's range highest point...! The large pyramid shaped summit seen in the background is that of mighty Snowdon or in real terms Yr Wyddfa. Its a rare thing to see Snowdons summit and its surroundings so clear especially on a snow winters day. But i bet if i had done Snowdon it would have been dull overcast with no views like that.
