June 24, 2006, Banff National Park, on ascent of Pinnacle Mountain, Alpine II, 5.5
Rapping the second techncial pitch, showing the line of ascent more clearly. There is no piton at the crux move on this pitch as is mentioned in the guidebook. The hemp rope is also gone. Made two or three placements, little run out. The rap station is nothing to swear by either.
