Coney Lake, one of the highest lakes in the state at 7,401 ft, from the north edge of Druid Plateau. The lake drains into the West Fork of Rat Creek. August 16, 2002.

Lonely lake

This lake doesn't get a lot of traffic (which is good) and I camped out one night on the little isthmus that juts out into the lake from the north. An old fire ring was present as were old rusted tin cans from a bygone era.
