Veliki vrh, the first high summit of Košuta/Koschuta, is most beautifully seen in the afternoon from the west. And if in fresh snow, it looks even greater. January 20th, 2008.

This is beautiful!!

It's absolutely true - there are a lot of underappreciated photos here on SP. I've discovered a lot of really fantastic photos which to my amazement had only something like five votes upon them! This already way before hitting upon the page "UNDERappreciated Photos"!

Thank you Eric! This picture has quite some votes. It was carefully done. I did first a HDR image, which enabled me to preserve contrasts. So the snow is white and not "burnt". Then I combined it with a normal picture (one of the sources of HDR), which gave the picture some shadows which are otherwise lost in HDR.

As allways - in nature it's all fine, but the problem is to transfer that on an image.
