Of all the photos I took on Denali, this one best captures the spirit of the West Buttress, and that of expedition climbing in general; a climber wearing a heavy pack, pulling a sled amidst a backdrop of snowy peaks.

Photo taken from the top of Motorcycle Hill with Mt Hunter in the background, May 21, 2008.

Photo won first place in the 2012 Chicago Mountaineering Club annual photo contest.

Nice capture

I like how you got this solitary climber in the picture w/Hunter.
Kind of a classic mountaineering picture!
