Hot Flash, III, 5.8

4th Pitch- 180’- 5.6R/ This can be a hard pitch to follow per the beta we had. Not that hard to explain in my opinion though. Climb the easy chimney until it bends right. Take off left below a bulge on face climbing. Continue to traverse left as you climb diagonally up left on suspect rock with few if any placements. Eventually you find a decent crack. Follow the crack up to a comfortable belay ledge below the nice varnished wall above. Hot Flash, III, 5.8, 10 Pitches, Red Rocks, May, 2008

Awesome shot...

love the exposure, (of the climb, not the shot!) As always, very well made page and great information on the photos. Hope all is well.

Re: Awesome shot...

Yeah, it DOES look cool...but you thought not so much based on your 2/5 star rating Dow? I thought that the FA list alone made the route worth doing :)
Great shot BTW!

Re: Awesome shot...

True, not so excited about this one Radek..found Larry's notes on it and he seemed excited about the route, but I am not so sure....prob a good mood day for him, not so much for me...or something like that...cheers
