Jablanac is small, 800 years...

Jablanac is small, 800 years old village on the coast of Velebit and one of starting points to visit North and Mid Velebit. If its small harbor weren't a port for ferry that connects Rab island with land Jablanac would be oasis of peace even in crowded summer. One of Jablanac curiosities is house on top of 20m high cliff (right). It is Miroslav Hirtz hut, probably one of the lowest placed in the world. If coming to this area don't miss Jablanac and nearby fantastic Zavratnica bay.
