The dark, pointed, tilted peak at left is Amphitheater Mountain, with the roundish mountain (with the band of snow on its face) directly behind not named. Next, dominating the center of the image, is darkish Split Mountain, with glaciated Blackfoot Mountain over its right shoulder—diminutive Clyde Peak between the two—then comes Mount Logan, with Mount Jackson on the far right.

Lastly, I'm not a hundred percent sure, but am thinking the nice mountain with lots of snow, in back, about a fourth of the way in at left, and almost equidistant between Amphitheater and Split, is Mount Thompson. (Can anyone verify this?)

peak names

I think Blackfoot is the icy peak right of Split Mountain, with Clyde Peak being the low, dark peak in front of Blackfoot. Mount Logan is next in line then snowy Jackson.

I think you're right. One thing throwing me was the "pointy" perspective of Jackson as seen from this angle. So then the mountain to the left of Blackfoot would be Walton? (Maybe Thompson?) Any ideas on what is behind, and very slightly right, of Amphitheater?

Very slightly right of Amphitheather is Medicine Owl Peak 8284' and Walton would be behind Blackfoot. So I believe the one left of Blackfoot would be Point 8846' then left of that is Mount Thompson 8527'.

Good points! Medicine Owl is barely visible, at the end of the ridge running out from the bottom foreground. I think you're right: Walton is not visible from this perspective, and is indeed behind Blackfoot. So...I guess Mount Thompson (which for some reason you never hear of) it is! But I still can't place the kind of roundish peak directly behind, and very slightly right of, Amphitheater.

The one behind Amphitheater is probably Peak 8579, which is between Norris Mountain and Red Eagle Pass. The map shows it having lower summits to the south towards the Nyack valley.
