You have no idea what reading your summit log entires and going through your
website about your Kili Expedition has just done to me . ..I am crying,
laughing and you have just taken me back in time ...
Kilimanjaro was my first major climb (highest anyway) and so far has been
the climb of a lifetime for me.
My partner and I summited Kili on 9-Sep-01 at about 6:45 AM via the Londorossi Route and the Western
Breach. Aside from the overwhelming feeling of 'Oh my God, we made
it!!!', my awe at the beauty and majesty of the place and my concern for my
partner who was suffering from AMS, i recall the feeling of being very
annoyed by these people who were taking photos with the official Summit Sign
and yelling out 'This is for you LULU!!!!!' That was you!!! :)!!
Unbelievable!! this is so cool ! I am so happy to have come across your
entries! Too funny really!!! I have yet to fill in my Kili summit log, in
fact signed it just today with a note saying 'more to follow' and have yet to get
my photos digitised. But our pictures look just like yours!! God, they were
taken at the same time!!!
Now i cannot wait to get my photos up so that you can see the similarity for
yourself!!!
