Magical Mystical sunset Pim Hill

Magical Mystical sunset Pim Hill

Pim Hill is an outcrop of red sandstone on a small ridge just north of Shrewsbury in the vast county of Shropshire. The hill reaches 163 metres AOD at its highest point with steep almost sheer sandstone cliffs on its western sides. These cliffs give rewarding views towards the borders of Wales for such a small hill. The hill is also covered in woodlands consisting of large pine trees and oak trees. This rather 'magical, mystical' almost 'fairy tale' image was taken on the approach towards sunset in June-2010 using three exposures on the cameras BKT setting at -1, 0 and +1 then a well over-exposed shot to bring out the foreground. The amazing part about that evening was not a breath of wind was present making it so peaceful and serene whilst enjoying the views.

Thank you very much for the nice comment.
I guess I should not really give all my secrets away when writing up the text but we are all on here to share our interests.

Re: This reminds me of...

Being very honest I have never watched the film. LOL. But the name Magical Mystery Tour goes well with the picture.
Thank you.
