Due to the difficult nature of the scramble on the summit block, this peak required three attempts before I could successfully reach the summit.

Tomyhoi

Very nice job Adam. You really captured the scrambling quite well. And since I did not get any photos of my own since my camera was with my pack at the moat it is fantastic to see all of these action shots. It shows the caliber of scrambling that we were required to do.

Re: Tomyhoi

Thanks Eric! That knife-edge tested my limits. I'm glad you went across first. I just finished the video. Take a look near the top of the page.

Tomyhoi

Wonderful pictures, Adam. Your album is the ABC's of climbing Tomyhoi. I admire your ability to remember your camera in the heat of the climb.

Re: Tomyhoi

Thanks Ken! Sorry I stole your trekking poles. I was SO tired when I was gathering up my stuff.

Oh My!!

Were there any rappel rings up there for the downclimb?? I got quite nervous seeing Maria traversing the side of that snowy dropoff!!! The knife edge actually looked safer that the side traverse. A gutsy scramble that was well captured in photos! The video is a ton of beta for all those climb Tomyhoi! Excellent work and congrats to all.

Re: Oh My!!

Thanks! There weren't any rappel slings or evidence of protection of any kind.
