Across a bridge the trail grew steep…

The trail was packed but the trees ran thick…

We broke through trees and saw our goal…

Then we slogged…

We slogged again…

022The ground ran dry... skis were shouldered...

Amidst views no less than immaculate…

025The Twin Lakes

We slogged some more…

026The slog seemed not to end on Colorado's tallest mountain

Mountain air makes for good moods and fresh faces…

030Fresh faces in the thin air

But the slog was relentless…

036"The end is in sight you say?"

The summit was close I was told…

041The summit lies beyond this hump

The prophecy was true… rock skinning led to the summit block…

La Plata appeared to invite…

Nicely Done!

Fun route in winter, no? I like the concise photo TR too. Hope you're having a great winter, Prakash.

Re: Nicely Done!

Thanks, it was a good time for sure. Yeah the photo TRs are definitely quicker to write :). You seem to be killing it this Winter.

Great Day!

Re: Great Day!

You didn't spend enough time on those skis for anyone to evaluate your technique ;).
