On the road to Similaun

There really is a road - well, the first 8 km anyway. It's an unsurfaced road from Vent to the Martin Busch Hütte. Not open for motorized transport except for those associated to the hut, but great for mountain bikers. We've started hiking in Vent early in the morning and as we got close to the hut, we were treated to this view of Similaun, from the north. The normal route is from the west. As you can see, it's a gentle slope. September 2, 2007.
