This picture, more than any I have seen, shows how big this mountain is. Great post.

Thanks Bubba! Something I want to point out that may not be obvious due to the way I cropped the photo, this shot is actually a composite of six images (3 on top and 3 on bottom). So its really even bigger than it looks in this image.

Have you done much hiking in the Siskiyous?

That is a pretty good stitch. I did not notice it. I say again, that is one awesome mountain.

I made it to Devil's Punchbowl almost 20 years ago but nothing since. I am itching to get back, but I seem to have too many quests to knock off closer to home. My cousin just built a house in Grants Pass, so I am hoping to use that as motivation to get back over that way.
