Very nice

and instructive photo, but I cannot help thinking how much more impressive the Matterhorn looks from Zermatt or the Gornergrat. Here Pic Tyndall gives it a strange hunchbacked appearance.

Il Matterhorn é come una giovan bella donna, che sa cangiar d'aspetto di volta in volta secondo le circostanze, sconvolgendo le coscienze a seconda di come, dove e da che punto di vista la si guardi. Ma sempre una giovane e bella donna rimane! E, comunque, men mal che ci sono dei GIOVAN ESTETI, come VOI DUE, che aman ancor guardar linee & forme!! W la Giovinezza, il Matterhorn e le Belle Donne!!!

The Matterhorn is as a youth beautiful woman, that knows how to change aspect of time in time according to the circumstances, upsetting the consciences according to as, where and from that point of view looks her. But always a youth and beautiful woman remains! And, however, badly that there are of the YOUNG AESTHETES as YOU TWO, that still love to look at the lines & forms!! W the Youth, the Matterhorn and the “Belle Donne” (= Beautiful women)!!!
