Summit pyramid of Marmolejo from camp 1 panorama

Looking up 2000 vertical meters from camp 1 at around 4300m to the summit of Marmolejo at 6108m. The route is via the prominent rocky hump in the middle of the right half of the picture. Except for its north side (easily climbed on scree at its right corner) this rocky hill is completely surrounded by the vast Marmolejo Glacier (penitentes!). 03/02/2010 09:59:47
