Looking down into the gully...
Looking down into the gully to the west of Castle Rock Spire during the first attempt on Cinco de Mayo. This is the gully used to approach the route. Rappel stations reach the floor of the gully from the top of pitch 5. The dead tree in the photo has since fallen over.
