Great Photo!

I've seen a ton of photos of the Grand but few from that perspective. My buddy Mike and I climbed the Smith/Otter Body route on our first trip to the Grand in 1973. We thought we were heading for the Lower Saddle but got off route and climbed the Teepe Glacier. The start of the route lies slightly out of view near the center of the photo. On our descent we met a park ranger who told us that the route had not had an ascent in over 20 years. The route is rarely mentioned to this day.
