Nice picture

some years ago, a "retired" member of SP, Velebit, sent in a picture of the Apenines seen from Sveto Bdro over 100 miles distant:

Oh, yes, i've taken a look...
It is not so uncommon as someone may believe; for example, you can see very well the Corsica from Monte Marmagna, near Orsaro, in the clearest day and sometimes in wintertime also Monte Rosa chain, which is over 200 miles distant from the Apenines.
