Susica canyon

Canyon of periodical river Susica is deeply cut into the vast high plateau NW of central Durmitor. Such plateaus surround central Durmitor from all sides. Further behind Susica joins Tara River canyon, which is deepest in Europe. During the last Ice Age waters from Skrka Valley glacier went through Susica into Tara.
