The upper part of the Cassin...

The upper part of the Cassin route (1938) at the Walker spur, north face of Grandes Jorasses:

Key places:

(a)Triangular snowfield

(b) Red chimney (it's not really a chimney, but several parallel cracks / shallow dihedrals, almost always ice-filled)

(c) "Reverse" ledge (it's really just inclined)

(d) Red Tower (also called Tour Rouge / Tour Rousse in several guidebooks)
