Westernmost part of the...
Westernmost part of the periodic Lake Cerkno. After long lasting rainfalls the lake is formed. It may cover an area of 30km² and then becomes the largest lake of Slovenia. At its western border the lake is drained by large cave systems like Mala Karlovica. The water emerges again at the beautiful valley of Rakov Skocian.
