Lares glacier is the...

Lares glacier is the southernmost big glacier of the Eastern Alps. The area between Care Alto and Lago di Garda lake carries no bigger mountains any more. So looking down from high mountain's ice to the hills is a nice contrast, that is quite unusual for the alps. (September 1997)
