After a brush bashing...

After a brush bashing beginning to this hike, the countryside opens up to a long ridgeline that leads eventually to the summit. Here SP'er Bob Bolton is strolling leisurely up the non technical ridgeline. 6-26-04

Strolling leisurely?

That's not what you said the last time! Seems like I remember something about afterburners or summit fever or something like that. I think you're just trying to see if I read your captions!

Re: Strolling leisurely?

Indeed, you WERE strolling leisurely, very much so. How could you possibly have "summit fever" for Deep Creek Peak? If you had kicked in the afterburners you would have overshot the peak and ended up down at the King Ranch. It was one that merited a "stroll" and it was done best at a leisurely pace. The only thing lacking was your parasol and your "tea time".

Did you read the caption about Molly's Nipple? Heh heh, Paul really knows the history of that gal.
