Viewed from Stanley Mtn

Engelmann Peak viewed from the summit of Stanley Mtn across the valley to the north. You can see one of the tailings ponds of the Urad Mine in the lower section of the photo. Ruby Creek, the normal ascent route from this side, is the basin to the right side of the peak. Bard Peak and Mt Parnassus are also visible behind Engelmann to the right, combining with Engelmann and possibly Woods (a 12er) makes a nice loop tour from the north.
