Volcanic talus

Brown Mtn has lots of this stuff and the trick to getting up the east side is to try and figure out ways to stay on strips of vegetation (woods or brush) and keep the talus travel to a minimum. Bob is working his way down one of the many fields we had to deal with. Lake of the Woods can be seen in the distance. 10-7-06
