Pretty open bushwhack then some talus (some of it loose) up the west slopes and then traversed mostly grassy terrain with some talus near the summits for PT 12700 B and Boreas then down the south ridge on Boreas to the car. Nice loop, plus a big elk herd in the PT 12700 B/Boreas saddle!
