Washer Woman Arch as seen through Mesa Arch in Canyonlands National Park, UT. Monster Tower is to the right of the arch. Airport can be seen in the background, and the La Sal Mountains in the cloudy distance. Imaged in April 2013.
What a nice photo!
Thank you, Vid, and cheers to you as well!
What a great perspective this is! And what amazing formations these are, especially the pillar rock with a hole in it.
Thanks, Josh! That pillar rock with the hole is, of course, named Washer Woman Arch because of its resemblance to a woman washing clothes.
She can wash my dirty socks ANY TIME ...
outstanding image, Mark !
All the elements lit up just right for you here. Thanks for sharing Mark, a truly great shot.
Thanks, Noondueler, serendipity was certainly on my side.
Thanks for posting.
Thanks for looking and commenting!
Mark-This is certainly one of your better photos, Spectaculat light. Of course you had to be up bright and early to get it, which I appreciate (and I no longer am interested in that aspect of photography), but this is superb. Nicely done.
Thanks, Aaron. I'm an early riser by nature. But, once the sun goes down, I'm ready to hit the sack. LOL.
