Re: Even without the picturesTotally wuss, yeah. I'm more intrigued by that brushy 90-second hike in. I'm guessing the route starts by going through the bush in front of the snazzy rental car with the almost-custom wheels.
When I click on the signature photo on the main page, it takes me back to the main page and not the photo. I've never seen that before. Now that's some fancy programming, Radek.

Re: Even without the picturesTried to fix it - any other photo will do - even one of mine :-)
This particular one results in a link which has a dot (.) right behind the photo number. And SP get confused about dots .o)

Re: I enjoyed...Hi Barbara,
thank you very much - didn't think anyone reads this kind of stuff (esp. when it's this long-winded). Thanks for your kind words! Cheers,

Good ReportI read every word and totally enjoyed it. I remember the first time I aid climbed - I learned how to do it by reading a book at the campground the day before the climb.

Re: It's about Time.....Chief,
thank you very much! Really enjoyed this line - love the position as you get higher and you can tell you're on a prow of this huge ship-like fin of rock. A tremendous experience! The views cannot be beat either, esp. with Sheep rock watching over you just across the way. Thank you again for the bomber belay anchors - I know you guys put a ton of work into it as did the guys more recently who added camo'd chains to the set up! Hope you get a chance to get out to the desert to tic more stuff in the near future. As to the Beyer line, I know it's over our heads for now...need to work up to such things with easier stuff. HOpefully can get out the fishers for some moderates soon. Regards Chief!

Too cool ...The 'discount motel' in Green River sounds like something
out of Deliverence! Was it these words that lulled you to sleep?
"Well, take me back down where cool water flows, Yeah.
Let me remember things I love -
Stoppin' at the log where catfish bite,
Walkin' along the river road at night,
Barefoot girls dancin' in the moonlight."
(CCR's Green River - 1969)

Re: Too cool ...Larry, that is funny. Deliverance is exactly what I was thinking of but not the CCR song :)
Thank you for checking this out. Cheers!
