Thanks very much!Having just had a quick peep at some of your images, I feel honoured to receive such kind feedback. I have a few pictures I am pleased with, but it is more a matter of being in the right place at the right time of day than great photographic skill. I have recently converted to digital, with a Nikon D140, but to my shame mostly operate in 'instamatic' mode. You clearly are something of an expert - and I couldn't even begin to know how you take those terrific panoramic views!

I shall look out for you on Aconcagua! I see your plans include being there from 17th Feb... I am hoping to reach Plaza Argentina around 5th Feb, to make a solo attempt - by 21st, which is last date I should need to be coming back.

Aconcagua.. Polish route.Yes, it'd be great to catch up there. I don't know yet when I'll be In Plaza Francia or Plaza de Mulas. (I'm gonna try both routes). I'm gonna travel to Argentina by bus, so my itinerary will be flexible. But I know we'll be on the same mountain. Wish you good luck in Aconcagua!

Re: Aconcagua.. Polish route.I'm gonna leave the South face for 2012, but I'm gonna take a moment studying it from Francia. Actually I'm planning to spend the whole season in Aconcagua, so we'll probably meet somewhere there. I didn't know that mountain could be so adictive :). I'm going for the Normal and Polish routes, though. Thanks for the comment Mark, have a good one!
