Rainy vistas  Sucess!

Really beautiful views on rain swept wildernesses. It’s a pity that the rain and wind limited my summit time.

Second of four  Sucess!

Four and a half hours from the Zealand Road trailhead. The summit had a fantastic view of Bond and Bondcliff so I could see what I was doing the rest of the trip.

Loved the Solitude and Beauty!  Sucess!

I bagged this peak as part of a 1.5 day Pemi Loop trip where I bagged 10 4K summits in all (plus a few that didn't count). The weather was incredible, but the ridge line was bone dry and had I been smart I would have refilled my water at Liberty Spring because I was desperate by the time I was coming off Garfield. My favorites of them all were West Bond and Bondcliff where solitude abounded and the stark beauty of the ledges around the summits made for great places to quietly sit and appreciate what God has made for us to experience if we just step out of our comfort zone a bit.

Great Views  Sucess!

Climbed this from the Guyot campsite. Pretty high winds at the top but terrific views. Some of the best in the Whites. I did head over to the 2nd peak of West Bond, which was a good little bushwhack to get to it.

Route Climbed: Pemi Loop  Sucess!

Did as part of a 2 day pemi loop. The views were incredible on an otherwise cloudy day.

Pemi loop backpack  Sucess!

Did a Pemi Loop over 2.5 days with a couple of friends. Going counter clockwise, camped at Guyot and Garfield tent sites. Saw an awesome lightning over a town to the north storm from Garfield; got hailed on in a lightning storm on the way out on the last day. Had a bottle of Bowmore with us.

Just great!  Sucess!

Second to Bond, this is amazing! The guyot campsite was crowded and did not live up to my expectations tho.

My dad, brother, sisters and I did a Pemi traverse starting from Lincoln Woods. We stayed overnight at Guyot. My dad woke up early the next morning to do West Bond, and we met him at the top.

nice, nice views  Sucess!

I went up West Bond first, and then went up Mt. Bond, on a hike which began on the Zealand trail. I didn't see Flamders or Brian Jenkins, they were there on the same day as me, go Summitpost!

West Bond  Sucess!

Climbed with South Twin, Guyot, Bond and North Twin via the Twinway Trail from Galehead. Summited in rain clouds but somehow managed to stay dry. A nice hike with a very remote mountain feeling to it.

The day after  Sucess!

Eerily quiet up there with no planes anywhere in sight. A sad day, however I can't think of anywhere else I'd rather be when the world as we knew has just changed forever.

only once  Sucess!

Pretty remote peak - hiked it in 2005 as part of a Pemi Loop backpack; been over Bond at least three more times since then but not made the detour again.

Cool one  Sucess!

With Flanders after hiking up from Bondcliff and hitting that one and Mt. Bond. Great views, fun scramble. Wished to have stayed for a while but we had to get to the campground before dark. Great first day of a two day hike.
