Climbed this probably in the early 90s after my partner chickened out on a previous attempt about ten years earlier. Such great position.

Amazing Experience
It's been a while since I climbed this, but I thought I'd sign the log anyway. It was a great climb but we were slowed down by the party ahead of us and took longer than we expected to finish. Ran short on food (I've never made THAT mistake again!).

My first winter big wall solo, took me 3-1/2 days. During my last night on the wall a winter storm moved into the Valley. Another solo climber on The Nose froze to death, but I survived that night.

west facenice climb, noone else. didn't use any fixed gear, which actually made it harder (trying to avoid all the fixed gear!)
