One of my favorite places to be  Sucess!

My sister, my German Shepherd, and I did a weekend trip out to the surrounding areas of Hells Hole. Had a great time! Lots of rain, and of course the 50 river crossings!

Geronimo lives...  Sucess!

I spent a few nights in the canyon and it was fantastic. I saw not a soul until one evening I was gathering wood for a fire and out of nowhere an old Indian rode up to me. He had long hair, wore a vest and a hat and had a mule loaded down with supplies on it. He said he was tracking me and I asked him where he was headed. In was all he said. I asked him his name and he said Eddie. I think he was squatting in the wilderness. Who know who long he had lived out there. The Gila is certainly vast enough that someone can go unnoticed indefinately.
