The SW part of the
Gąsienicowa Valley viewed from
Mały Kościelec (over
1860m). The tarns to the left are called
Kurtkowiec (nearer) and
Zielony Staw (
Green Tarn, farther) whereas to the right sits the funny
Dwoisty Staw which is actually made up of two or – in drier spells - three tarns. In the background stands
Kasprowy Wierch at
1987m (just left of centre, with weather and cable car stations),
Beskid at
2012m (left), and
Giewont at
1894m (right of centre, afar off).
