Sunrise snowshoe via the west ridge. Phenomenal sunrise, trip report here.
Winter climb snow from 3900'
From Ollalie Lake. A Two-fer with Granite Mountain.
Went up from the Olallie/Pratt saddle with my girlfriend. Met with hard snow and ice and no crampons, we had to turn back about 300ft from the top. Great place to hang out tho!
TNAB speedy ascent. Opted not to bring the skis/skins... had continuous snow from about Talupus up, and the Basin looked very inviting. Still a great summit and good views.
With Joel C. & Eastking.
Nice winter summit. It was sunny when I began but I then ran into a snow shower on the summit. Quiet a lot of fun.
w/Granite Mtn and Red 2.
I climbed this and Granite on a Seattle Mountaineers winter scramble.
Loop trip up Granite and down by Olallie Lake. http://www.willhiteweb.com/washington_climbing/snoqualmie_pass/tusk_granite_119.htm
