Very exhilerating since doing Mt Smuts years ago,oinly trid it as an aspiring guide came with as I am getting older for this type of scrambling.This route starts fairly quickly from highway so you can test your skills with little time and shorter days.

Mt Baldy West Ridge
A decent route close to Calgary. A lot more fun (and harder) than the standard north Baldy scramble. If your scrambling skills are questionable, bring a rope - sections of the scramble are on slab and a slip would send you a long way.
