West Ridge trail
Below treeline, the West Ridge trail tends to be wet, and in early winter that means it's very icy. Shown here is the trail beside the waterfall below Cliff's Bridge near treeline. There's always a well-trodden detour at this spot. The unusually steep slope here makes the ice visible despite some fresh snow, but many of the flat spots on the trail are just as icy.
