rope

We did OK with two 60' pieces of 8mm static -- two pieces may be better for a multi-person party (than one longer rope). I would bring maybe 20' 15mm webbing to add slings if need be.

The pull might be tricky on the crux pitch -- direct the rope over the south "face" and make sure the are no snags on the chickenheads on the way down.

I'm going to copy and paste this into the page to supplement my own notes. My 50m 8mm rope was really light, though, only about 2.5 lbs.

wow-- I've never seen an 8mm rope that weighed less than 38g/m

Oops...it's a little over 4 pounds. Don't know where I pulled the 2.5 from.
