best approach trail in ADKS, especially in late spring

One of the best ADK Hikes!
The Ausable Valley is in my opinion the most beautiful location in the Adirondacks. The waterfalls and lake are spectacular. Indian Head is a great nearby spot too.

reminded me of lord of the rings
looking back, I did not appreciate this trail as much as i should due to the fact i had already climbed the scenic trail to sawteeth and gothics and the sun was fading. would definitely hike the trail again if provided the chance.
